I was wondering if there is any Bifocal Contact Lens that can be worn for a week or two? My eye doctor said that there is not. But a friend of mine said that there was. Please help, not sure if I need to find another doctor or not. Read the rest of this entry »

Introducing a New Breakthrough Design in Multifocal Contact Lenses

After it’s long awaited arrival, the hybrid multifocal contact lens is available at select offices. As of this post, the lens is only available in limited parameters and to a very select group of contact lens specialists.
This latest version of the hybrid contact lens is only available to people who have mostly regular corneas, and a an eyeglasses Rx of +4.00 to -4.00 with minimal astigmatism. As with any lens, each candidate must be evaluated on a case per case basis. If you are outside of those parameters, don’t despair. Their are plenty of other successful multifocal lens designs out there.

I have been working with the Synergeyes lens for well over a year and am extremely pleased with the level of vision and comfort it has brought to so many people. Many of us in the industry, and lens wearers alike, are extremely excited about this latest modality in a multifocal contact lens.
