dear lense guy, i have a question that possibly you will not be able to answer but nothing ventured nothing gained. i just found out about this new lense called energeyes and im very excited about it. i have been wearing contacts since 1967 and have always had the very best correction to 20/60 and that was with a hard lense. with glasses i have 20/70,soft lenses 20/70. so my question is this.have you heard or do you know of anyone with the same situation as me and can this lense possibly give me an extra line better of vision..i need all i can get..another problem ive had for over the past fifteen years is i have to magnify to see print. its very frustrating. there was a time when i could just hold the material closer if i wanted as im very nearsighted. now i HAVE to use magnifiers and let me tell you its very frustrating when your job requires you to use your eyes for some of your job duties. i hope you can possibly answer some of my questions it would be very helpful..thank you sincerely sharon

I heard a lot of talk about reverse piggyback lens systems at the Global Keratoconus Conference this past January, but I have not yet seen the need to implement it myself. What I understood from other lens fitters is that it is a great system for short term use, (ie. Sports) when a gas permeable lens alone will not remain stable for a given activity.

So it may just be the right solution for you at this time. If I were in your shoes, I would not hesitate to try it out. It sounds like your lens fitter is on top of the latest trends.

Good Luck,
Steve

First of all, thanks for answering me so clearly.
My cone is center/low on my left eye so I think synergeyes showuld work.

Regarding the piggyback system, my lens fitter has proposed me a reverse piggyback (Rose K RGP UNDER a extended wear silicone hydrogel soft lens ) because he says this is the only way to have something "stable".
I'm a bit confused about this solution however today I'm going there to give it a try, have you ever heard about this kind of "reverse piggyback" ?

Thanks again
